Chasin' Dreams Grant Application

For the next grant cycle, applications are due July 1, 2018

Chasers Charities will grant funds to help small non-profit organizations that operate youth baseball and/or softball programs that are making major renovations.

 

 

Major renovations will include the upgrading essential baseball field components including:

New Sod

Infield

Fencing

Dugouts

Field Equipment

Baseball Equipment

 

Non-essential items that do not qualify are:

Lights

Bleachers/grandstands

Restrooms

Scoreboards

Labor/Routine maintenance

 

 

Eligibility: The program is open to any 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations or local government units that operate a youth baseball and/or softball program in Sarpy, Douglas, Cass, Washington, Dodge, Lancaster, or Pottawattamie County.

 

Application Process/Schedule: Qualifying organizations must complete an application and submit application and required documents to the Chasers Charities Board of Directors. Applications will be accepted and reviewed throughout the year. Grant approval will be determined by the Board of Directors.

Applications must be submitted online or emailed to kathleene@omahastormchasers.com by the deadlines posted above for consideration. Once the application is received and reviewed, Chasers Charities may call to schedule a site visit. In addition, Chasers Charities may schedule a follow-up site visit once funding has been awarded and a project is completed. Please note that if an application is not received by the deadlines listed above, it will only be reviewed if funding is available after timely requests have been considered, and the organization might be asked to resubmit during the next grant cycle.

 

Additional Requirements: Grant recipients will prominently display provided signage recognizing program supporters and seek local media coverage for grant dedication ceremony.
