Spotlight: Jackie Robinson Athletic Scholarship Winners for 2015 Season

April 8, 2015

Every season the Home Run Foundation of Greater Omaha, charitable arm of the Storm Chasers, presents scholarships to two African-American high school students (one male and one female) participating in athletics.  Due to the highly competitive field of entries, two males students have been selected this season.  Joseph Nash, Jr. of North High Magnet School and Jason Towery, Jr. of Lincoln High School have been selected as the male winners, while Jordan Young of Central High School has been selected as the female winner.  The three winners will be presented with their scholarship at the Storm Chasers April 21st game against the Memphis Redbirds (6:35 p.m. start time).
